DT Tuesday with Camille

Happy Tuesday to everyone!

Today I’m sharing a chipboard tag I made this past Sunday using Angie’s NEW Shine Bright Girls set. The set was just released last week and I was so happy to play with it.

As you can see from the photo above, I used the girl on the left only. Here’s a peek at the entire glorious set.

Clicking on the set above will take you to the product’s page at Unity Stamp Company.
Now It’s time to share some cards I ADORE from the Unity {show & tell} Facebook Group.

The above card was created by Shannon Pavlovic Edwards. I just adore the creative vibe of this card. Thanks so much, Shannon, for using your creative energy to brighten someone’s day.

The card below was created by Susan Slywchuk. The colors Susan used are absolutely gorgeous and I just love the artistic feel to the card's background. Thanks for sharing with us!

KOTM Monday ~ Never Be Afraid ~ Gold Butterflies

Hi, it's Gaylynn here with a Kit of the Month Monday project.

Sentiment:
Savor the beauty of life and believe that each moment in time is a new beginning.

For this card, I used the solid and the outline butterfly images from the kit.
I stamped each onto watercolor paper, but only colored the outline butterflies in gold watercolor.

I made a quick tip video tutorial for these layered butterflies.

Here is the August 2017 KOTM called Never Be Afraid.

And here is a closer look at my card.

You can't go wrong with the KOTM membership.  It is like getting a present in your mailbox every month.  For more information, click Kit of the Month then scroll down for the details.

Have a lovely day.

 How cute are these owls???
  I love them so much!
I made a Kraft card and used my Prismacolor Pencils.
Then added some rhinestone stars just to add some detail.

Here is the actual stamp look at all of the lovely details.
I especially love those wee hearts on each owl.

I am LOVING Uniquely Unity!!

Have you joined Uniquely Unity yet??
These owls remind me of my husband and I.
I love just snuggling next to him and knowing all is right in my world.  The owl on the left is just so smitten.  Like me, for over 20 years now.

Aren't they adorable?
You are my everyday WONDERFUL.  What a perfect sentiment!  Don't you think?

DT Tuesday with Angeline

Hey scrappy friends.
Angeline here to share with you a quick card I made using the Patience and Hugs by Susan Weckesser. This set is just adorable and a must-have!

Unity Stamp Company: I need a HUG #unitystampco #scrappyscrappy #susanweckesser #stamp #stamping #card #cardmaking #timholtz #distressoxide #nuvodrop #tonicstudios #dttuesday

I first smooshed some Tim Holtz distress oxide inks [Broken China / Cracked Pistachio / Wilted Violet] onto my craft mat then spritzed some water onto it. Then I just pressed my card onto the inks and wa-laaaa! :) It's just like magic!

Once it is dried, I stamped the cute bunnies all around and that cute sentiment to my card. I also added some Nuvo drop [Bubblegum Blush] and I'm done!

Unity Stamp Company: I need a HUG #unitystampco #scrappyscrappy #susanweckesser #stamp #stamping #card #cardmaking #timholtz #distressoxide #nuvodrop #tonicstudios #dttuesday

This technique would be great if you're in a rush and just need a quick one layer card without much fuss but still looks cute! :)

So I have also spotted some really cute cards in the Unity {show & tell} FB Group. Do join us there to share us your scrappy cards and be part of this fun group!

Here's a card made by Shannon Pavlovic Edwards.
So so pretty!

Next card is made by Corinne L Young-Derby.
I just love the texture on those poppies!

And this card is made by Amanda Garrett.
The cameras stamped in the background is just perfect for the beautiful girl!

And finally, this card by Christina McCoy Varnum.
Just love how beautiful this card is!

So, don't stop sharing your beautiful scrappy projects with us and we may feature you here next week :)

Till then, remember that ....

KOTM Monday!

Happy Monday!

Echo here starting off the week with 2 cards I made using August's Kit of the Month-Never be afraid. It is an awesome kit this month.

To learn more about this membership, click here
This is one of four amazing memberships that Unity offers.

My first card I used the spotlight technique to add a bit of interest to the card. I first stamped the image on white card stock and then die cut where I wanted the spotlight to be. I colored just the die cut area with Copic markers and then added the black mat. Lined it up with the image and added sentiment on a die cut banner. I stamped sentiment in VersaMark ink and embossed in white.

For this next card, I just did some simple stamping using the same stamp in different colors.
This is my favorite sentiment in this months kit.

Hope you all have a wonderful week and get some craft time in!

Uniquely Unity 8-13-2017

Good morning and happy Sunday to all of you.  It's Kris here to share another round of Uniquely Unity inspiration.  This month's kit is titled Everyday Wonderful Owls from the artist Tierra Jackson (and boy does she deliver a stunner with this adorable image!).

Here's the card I made.  It is colored with distress ink and markers.  The background panel is a Memory Box die.  I thought a starry background would be perfect for the owls sitting on the moon.  It was easy to create that mottled sky by simply blending distress ink over the panel and then spritzing with water.  I also added a bit of glossy accents (from Ranger) on each heart.
